Data we collect

• Contact form fields: name, email, organisation, optional phone, engagement interest, preferred window, and message content

• Engagement records: business contact details and documents you supply during fieldwork (governed also by the engagement letter)

Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to scoping requests (contractual steps / legitimate interests in operating our practice). Engagement data is processed to perform professional services and meet legal record-keeping duties applicable in Taiwan. Analytics run only with consent.

Retention

Website enquiries are retained up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for an active proposal. Engagement working papers and reports are retained for at least seven years or longer if professional or regulatory rules require. Cookie identifiers follow the durations in our cookies table.

Your rights

Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and may object to certain legitimate-interest processing. Contact us at the email above. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwanese authority.

International transfers

If we use email or document hosts located outside Taiwan, we apply contractual safeguards and assess whether the destination provides adequate protection. Engagement documents remain under instructions agreed in the engagement letter.

This site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this notice; the date above will change. Material changes affecting engagement clients will also be communicated through existing relationship channels where appropriate.
