Refunds, deposits & rescheduling

Scope

These terms apply to professional audit and assessment engagements described on this site (control environment audits, remittance testing, AML evidence reviews, licensing readiness assessments, and vendor assurance reviews). We do not sell physical products, software subscriptions, or course seats.

Deposits

A deposit (typically 30% of the quoted fixed fee) reserves fieldwork weeks. The deposit is credited toward the final invoice.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 21 days before the scheduled fieldwork start: full refund of deposit minus a NT$15,000 administrative charge for letter and planning already performed.
• 8–21 days before start: 50% of the deposit is refundable; the remainder covers reserved auditor time.
• 7 days or fewer, or after fieldwork has begun: deposit is non-refundable. Work completed to date is invoiced on a time basis up to the engagement cap.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 14 days’ notice is usually accommodated without charge if alternative weeks exist. Shorter notice may incur a reschedule fee of up to 10% of the engagement fee to cover remobilisation.

No-shows and delayed access

If agreed walkthrough participants are unavailable without 48 hours’ notice, or evidence populations are not provided within the information-request timetable, we may pause the engagement and charge for idle reserved days. Extended delays may be treated as client cancellation under the seven-day rule.

Work already started

Draft reports, sampling worksheets, and interviews already conducted are billable. Partial refunds of amounts paid beyond the deposit apply only to unused future fieldwork days, calculated proportionally after deducting completed work.

Non-refundable items

• Completed board briefings and delivered final memoranda
• Third-party translation or secure courier costs already incurred at your request
• Administrative charge noted under early cancellation

Refund process & timing

Email hello@automatedrouting.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to an account you nominate in writing.

Cancellation by Tidewater

If we must withdraw for independence, conflict, or capacity reasons before fieldwork starts, deposits are refunded in full. If withdrawal occurs after start for reasons outside your control, you pay only for work completed; unused prepaid amounts are refunded.
