Pre-licence evidence that still reads as aspiration
How licensing readiness assessments separate drafted policies from operating evidence Taiwan fintech applicants need before filing.
A polished policy binder can still fail a licensing readiness assessment if no one can show the control running on live customers — or on a controlled pilot with real exception handling.
Prefer short operating histories over long wish lists
Three months of genuine reconciliation packs beat eighteen months of future-state diagrams. Filing counsel can frame limited history; they cannot invent sampling evidence.
Name the owners in the room
If the AML policy cites an MLRO who has not started, say so. Readiness heatmaps should show hiring dependencies clearly.
Align capital narratives with operational capacity
Examiners connect staffing plans to transaction forecasts. Disconnects between finance and operations decks become questions you would rather answer in a workshop than in a hearing.
Commission a licensing readiness assessment when your filing quarter is fixed and you need a frank gap list.
